South Korea 2023

I visited South Korea (Seoul) for the first time last September. I mostly enjoyed my stay and plan to visit again this year.

Things that I liked there:

• friendly people
• metro
• a lot of cultural sights
• warm weather with a pleasant humid continental climate
• people are not afraid to protest for their rights
• minimal police presence on the streets (although we did see some helicopters)
• not super expensive

However, I also encountered some issues:

• not so easy to find western food
• Google Maps didn’t function properly
• unpleasant smells in some streets
• navigation wasn’t always the best
